Brittany and Colin have welcomed their sweet baby girl home. At a week old, they’re settling perfectly into life as a family of three. I’ve absolutely loved the process of beginning as their wedding photographer, and now as their family photographer. It’s so incredible to follow a couple’s story. To document their most precious moments of life together. I really live for this kind of thing, as it’s something I document and cherish in my own family and hope everyone can have to treasure.

Thank you, Brittany and Colin, for having me. It’s been so amazing to see you become parents, and I know you’ll be among the very best. Margot is going to be an incredible girl because of you two. I look forward to seeing her as she grows!

It’s easy to be hard on ourselves and how we look, especially in photos. Pregnancy doesn’t always make that easier, especially when you’re flat tired and just ready to be done. But when I see these photos, I see patience, love, and a very deserving couple. Chris and Janie are my brother and sister-in-law, and I’m so honored to share these moments with them. They’ve tried for years to have a baby of their own, and just when they started to step back from their years of heartache, money invested, pain and exhaustion, they found out they were finally expecting! What a miracle! I don’t think I could have been more excited for them and I hope it shows in these photos, I just love looking at them and seeing them together at this point in their lives.

Congratulations Chris and Janie, you are going to be such wonderful parents. Evelyn Grace is lucky to have you, as you are her. I can’t wait to see you three together!

No matter how much scheduling and planning you do, sometimes you just get a sweet new baby who wants to be present and fully awake for his debut! I can’t really blame him, it’s a fun experience, for sure! I really loved spending time with Mason and his mom + dad after being apart of his coming into the world. I can’t believe I’ve been able to follow along since our maternity session, to birth, and new at just over a week old. I feel so honored to document these milestones. Thank you, Amanda, Josh, and Mason, for having me! I look forward to see you three again!
