Wish you all a very Merry Easter, my friends! Here are a few images from our visit with one of my sweet friends who let us come out and explore with these cute little chicks! Kate wasn’t really sure what was going on and wasn’t thrilled with these birds all around her. Alyx on the other hand, loved them!
Kate was only mildly curious – she typically LOVES birds and can spot one a mile away. We thought she would love this experience. Lesson learned.
We had all too much fun playing with these chicks – Alyx was fearless! Katie and I laughed nonstop!
Carl and Katie don’t have kids of their own yet – unless you count their German Shepards :), but they are absolutely wonderful with mine. Katie loved sharing her experience with these animals, and Alyx was eager to learn and be apart of it.
It had rained most of the afternoon, and weren’t sure if we’d be able to stay outdoors – thankfully as the evening progressed, we had a beautiful sunset. After about an hour of being outdoors, we went inside and enjoyed pizza and played with the puppies. A perfect afternoon :).
