This handsome guy is my little brother. He lives in Iowa and is headed into his senior year of high school. We were lucky enough to spend some of the summer together and I was completely honored he asked me to take his senior pictures. We had some big visions of what this session would entail, but with last minute changes, we hit the waterfront instead. Since Kyus is a Florida boy at heart (having lived there most of his childhood), this spot was perfectly fitting. I know he’ll enjoy his more serious looks more, but he’s got a great smile and I couldn’t help but be drawn to those images.

I hope you’re enjoying the rest of your summer! Cheers to an amazing last year of high school, I cannot wait to see what great things you’ll do next!

How incredible it is to be experiencing your first child together. To watch the connection and bond deepen in a relationship is a really beautiful thing, the way I’d say it should be. Amanda and Josh were a joy to spend the afternoon with. I couldn’t be happier to watch these two become parents + just wait until you see the story unfold in the sessions planned from here! Anxious and excited hardly describe it :).

Congratulations Amanda and Josh, thank you so much for choosing me to document this time for you!

These 2 are in “L <3 VE" !!!! VERY apparent. And the way they both keep holding the bottom of her tummy like baby's just gonna drop right out any second!! It really looks like she will begin labor any moment. Love, Love it !! BEAUTIFUL work!!!! ;) Reply Cancel

Relay for Life is an event I look forward to each year. It’s an emotional, heartwarming, and humbling experience that is simply amazing to be apart of. I didn’t hold back picking favorites this year, as each year offers something new and exciting! I see many familiar faces, many that you’ll notice in previous year’s also – I just love the commitment from entire families and groups of friends to this event. Everyone stays pumped, excited, and giving it their all, it’s definitely a good time!

This year’s theme, ‘Lights, Camera, Action!’ brought Disney princesses from A Simple Wish, that put on amazing performances and lots of fun for the kiddos (and who am I kidding, the grown ups loved it too!), there were some incredible flash dances, and the unveiling of the Relay for Life dedication in honor of Dr Gordy Klatt at the school where Relay is held every year. Congratulations Relay family on another successful year working on the fight against cancer!
