I’ve known Juanita and her sweet girl, Isabella, for some time. Through time with mutual friends, I’ve watched Juanita become a mom, and Bella grow into the adorable little girl she is. I’m so honored that she contacted me to take photos of the two of them, despite the very rainy weather. We had too much fun stomping through puddles, talking about the mom life, and chasing Bella all over the place. She’s an adventurous and fearless girl already! I adore these mommy daughter moments too much!
Kela and David are such a sweet, loving couple. Bringing their baby girl into the world will definitely bring them full circle – there’s no doubt they will be incredible parents. We hung out for hours, not wanting to end, capturing all we could of the nursery, Kela, and the two of them together. Kela and I worked together to bring her vision to fruition, but also to let me creatively explore their home and bring out their life at this memorable juncture.

Jenarae, Nick, and I spent the day in Bellingham – where they attended college at Western, met by chance, and fell in love. It’s that sweet kind of love story where everything happened at the right time, that meant-to-be kind of good stuff. We ate good food, talked and laughed while exploring around town on a luck-of-the-draw beautiful day in January. It was seriously the best day ever, totally worth getting stuck in Seattle blue Friday before the Superbowl kind of traffic. No, I didn’t mind one bit. I love this couple and this session and pretty much every single one of the pictures we captured that day!
