I’ve been anxiously working through an increasingly busy holiday season to share a few photos from my time with Brittany, Colin, Margot, and newborn Lucy. Now a family of four, nestled in a lovely old home in the heart of Tacoma, I can’t help but love this family. I’ve loved getting to walk with them through a few important seasons of their life, and I am so fortunate to know them and capture these moments.

Congratulations on your precious baby girl, and thank you for having me be apart of this time with you.

The Pruitt family is as ready as ever and waiting for baby girl number two! I’m elated to see their family grow, to see Margot become a big sister, and to see how life changes for the better for all of them. It’s a slow (lightning fast?!), seemingly ordinary thing to get married and have a family, but it’s really quite remarkable. It’s even more so when you meet someone by chance, and end up documenting some of the most important days of their lives. From their wedding, to becoming parents, and the growth of their perfect family. I can’t wait to meet baby girl in a few short weeks!

Congratulations Pruitt family, and thank you as always, for having me out on a beautiful and drizzly fall day! I had the best time catching up and playing with Margot.

Katherine and Dave are parents! I can hardly believe it myself, but about two months ago, they welcomed their precious baby boy, Alex, into the world. Katherine and Dave have this way about them that is so matter of fact, but comforting all at the same time. Qualities that undoubtedly make them extraordinary parents! I’m beyond excited for the adventures they’ll begin to take as a family of three, and that I’ll inevitably invite myself on, because they’ll always need a photographer or pal for the baby to play with, right? Our little ones are about 7 months apart!

We met at our local park, a beautiful location I’ve been frequenting for countless years. It was a perfectly mild summer morning with all the sunshine I was hoping for and no crowds. We caught up, walked amongst the roses and into the forest, and reveled in life now that Katherine and Dave are Mom and Dad. Things have changed so much for all of us since their Mount Rainier wedding or their Franklin Falls engagement. It’s hard to imagine just how much in the last few years!

Congratulations Parsons family, I am overjoyed for your beautiful, growing family. Thank you, as always, for a morning well spent. I can’t wait to see you again!
