This event is in support of the American Cancer Society, where all proceeds are donated to the ACS. This event is all in good faith and humor. Thank you all for your support to help the fight against cancer. 

For the 8th year running, this party is a benefit for The American Cancer Society which means 100% of the proceeds go to funding research and fighting cancer right here in Washington! This is my second year photographing the event, and it does not disappoint! It’s incredible to see the friends, family, volunteers, and donators come together for this cause. A truly unbelievable event to be apart of, seeing all the effort that is put in to making this happen each and every year, and to accommodate nearly 500 people that attended this year!

An unintentional black & white series of my sweet nieces and godfather. Time has changed my family so much over the years it’s been since I’ve seen them. It’s hard on the heart to not be near, especially as the little ones grow from babies to girls, and signs of age show on the rest of us. There’s no doubt that I soak up every single second I do get with them, and the excitement and love is more than I can ask for at times. They all know who I am and how much I love them, and I’m thankful their parents remind them regularly.
