My favorite type of photography is the kind that sort of happens naturally. That doesn’t always happen, so we make the best of it, and yet, it’s still those moments in between poses that will stir up emotion and keep a feeling alive. The Patton family can vouch for that as this is a not-so-frequent thing for them.

It was a true honor to capture these moments for this sweet family. I believe wholeheartedly that it is the little things in life that we will hope to remember most. Daily routines and busy schedules often keep us from taking a moment to  remember what is truly important. Thankfully, we all do the best we can, and occasionally, have a beautiful photo to remember it by.

What a joy! Thank you Jamie, Jim, Sam, and Alex for braving through the session with me during this beautiful and warm afternoon. I hope you love these as much as I do :). Enjoy this wonderful spring weather!

I met the Barta family about a year ago for Colette’s one year, before Miss Penelope made her grand entrance into the world! Colette is now two, and Penelope is six months. I absolutely adore this family!
We started at Bradley Lake Park before heading to their home to warm the girls up. While this sunshine is glorious, the wind is still a bit chilly.
I hope you’re enjoying this beautiful spring day, and these very precious girls!

Girls just wanna have fun 🙂

April and Rian, thank you again for allowing me the honor of capturing your adorable children. I had a great time! These girls are blessed with such wonderful parents as you two.

Meet Keri, Tony, and Amber. A local Tacoma family I had the pleasure of meeting and capturing during a rainy, almost-Spring day. Little Miss Amber is coming up on two this May. She made it clear she was there to have fun, and definitely put me to work! Too cute! Enjoy :).

We had to take cover while it rained, and were given some unique lighting situations, which made for some beautifully creative portraits :).
