I’ve been working on this sweet family’s photos for a little while now, so I’m very excited to showcase the Tudor family today! Megan, Michael, and six month old Kanaan.

We’ve had consistent rain as fall has settled into the Pacific Northwest, so Megan and I were really hoping for a little break. We got more than we could’ve hoped for with some beautiful sunshine too!

Anyone who knows me, knows what a sappy love photog I am. When parents are able to forget I’m in front of them for a second, and fall into a moment with one another, it doesn’t get any sweeter!

…and then with their precious baby too. Happy parents and babies :).

Kanaan is the cutest combination of his mom and dad. He comes by those big blue eyes honestly!

Kanaan makes all kinds of faces! It’s so cute to watch his expressions change as he moves from mom to dad, then the lady with the big camera. Hahaa! Love it!

He’s discovered the joy of his little toes!

One happy mama!

I was actually setting up this photo for Kanaan while Megan held his hands, but I caught just enough of her face and big smile, I had to leave it! I just love it!

And then we got a cute little smile out of her little man!

Kanaan lasted a good amount of time for pictures, and was nearing the end when this cute little hat came out. I couldn’t resist though, seriously?! How cute is that!!

And those long eyelashes! Oh my…

As we were setting Kanaan up, we had a little visitor. If you look toward the bottom right corner, you’ll see a little green frog who eventually found his way all the way around the blanket before hopping off. Too cute!!

The proceeds from this photo shoot were donated to the Lingenfelter family, who’s little girl Savannah, was diagnosed with leukemia. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their family and pray for the best for them. Megan also participated in the 5k that supported the cause. Thank you all who were able to help.

The Fountain family! One of the sweetest families I’ve met!

I just love this little guy! I’ve been with him since the womb when I photographed Myra’s maternity photos, Noah’s newborn photos, and now at 6 months, he’s a happy little camper!

Look at Noah’s little face! My favorite!

Such a fashionable gentleman :).

Sometimes you can just tell certain things about people, with Myra and Jeremiah, it’s their kind hearts. They’re sweet, gentle, welcoming, and you can’t help but love to be around them.

Happiness!

Noah is the cutest blend of his mom and dad!

All-american! 🙂

Love!

It took us a few minutes to get Noah happy in this spot, then just as he did, we whisked him off to another one. He was happy as long as he was in the arms of his parents, can’t blame him for that!

Beautiful.

I love when parents indulge me in having a few photos taken of just the two of them!

The pumpkin patches are just so much fun this time of year! It’s certainly a popular place, we ran into many families having their pictures taken, and I was glad to see so many people capturing this time in their lives. I’m even more happy to be apart of that in one way or another, especially with this wonderful family!

Thank you Myra, Jeremiah, and Noah for spending time with me at one of my personal favorite places of the season! I look forward to seeing you again :). Enjoy the beautiful fall weather we’ve been having!

I’m happy to say that Adrienne is a friend of mine from our Army days together. I haven’t seen the family together since I did Griffin’s newborn photos! Now he’s 17 months old and looking more and more like mom and dad than ever!

It was a beautiful early fall day, and for those of you in Western Washington, you know how awesome this weather has been!

family photos

Little Griffin was so good for photos, but in this one he wasn’t having a family shot. He decided he was more interested in my camera, so he walked right up to me and I showed him what it was all about :).

Griffin’s expressions just crack me up! Occasionally I’ll get an adorable little smile, but more times than not, he’s got this look saying, ‘what are you doing lady? i have stuff to do.’ Then he would scurry off in the opposite direction.

One of few precious smiles!!

My little girl loves to do this too! It made my heart smile to see Griffin stop to smell the flowers.

family photo

A beautiful mother-son shot if I do say so! Sometimes he looks like his dad, and then other times – like here – he looks like mom. Don’t you just love that?!

mother son photo

Love!

I’ve followed Jesse and Adrienne along since they first fell in love…

…and when they welcomed this handsome guy into the world! Being with a family, capturing their memories and telling their story is one of the greatest aspects next to wedding photography.

Griffin wanted to play with the seaweed and sticks, so dad joined him. I love these two together!

We had beautiful afternoon light!

And a final moment with Jesse and Adrienne. It’s so important to capture parents, as we so often leave ourselves out and only put our kids in front of the camera. We fought some bitter wind near the water, but I’d say it was worth it for this moment!

Thank you Adrienne, Jesse, and Griffin for having me apart of your lives and for being such dear friends! I look forward to watching your family grow. Enjoy the beautiful fall weather!
