The beautiful wedding of Jaycee and Byron! A perfectly beautiful day meant just for them! Enjoy!

The first look.

Aren’t they adorable?! They compliment one another so well!

Jaycee and Byron, thank you so much for having me tell the story of your wedding day. It was a true honor. Congratulations, and cheers to forever!

Meet Kimmy, Cody, and Colton from Rainier, Wa. They came down to spend some time with me on a warm, late summer afternoon! With the awesome weather and a country setting, we had a great time walking around enjoying the outdoors!

Colton turned one on the 11th!! He is just the cutest little guy and was great to photograph, he was so curious about the lady with her big camera :).

I just LOVE this one!

I couldn’t get enough of their boots, plaid, and chubby cheeks!

Colton is a smart little boy too! He’s very observant about everything around him, despite his parents efforts to keep his attention.

I love those cute little baby feet!!

Kimmy and Cody were very laid back. It’s refreshing to just walk around, talk, and point here and there when you find a good spot, all the while enjoying the warm sunshine before fall settles in!

Gotta love the cowboy boots and baby toes :).

You can tell how wonderfully involved Colton’s parents are with him. He has a special relationship with each of them, and was selective as to who he wanted to spend his time with when he has the choice. It’s adorable to watch him in action!

Another favorite!

Such an adorable family!

…and a gorgeous couple.

For these pictures, I held on to Colton while showing him mommy and daddy on the camera screen. He was intrigued long enough for me to take pictures of them alone. I just fell in love with him!

Colton was very much done with pictures at this point, but I couldn’t help grabbing one last picture. He loved playing with the grass!

Thank you Kimmy and Cody for coming out to meet me on such a busy afternoon. I’m glad we were able to get around the crowds. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do! I hope to see you again. Happy birthday to Colton!

OMG Colton and just mom and dad’s boots!!! I love it!!!!ReplyCancel

Rob’s mom contacted me to take her son’s senior pictures as he prepares for the school year to begin. Kelly and I have younger boys in the same elementary school in Steilacoom, so we frequently see each other. I’m honored she chose me to showcase her son at such a big stage in his life!

We had a great time scouting around the locations Kelly chose and we found so many options to play with! The morning started out pretty typical for Washington with cool, crisp air that soon gave way to a warmer sunshine. We’ve had such a beautiful and hot summer, I’m pretty sure we’re all ready for fall to settle in. I love that we found some of that feel in Rob’s images!

At one point, Rob apologized for suppressing his laughter as him mom was making faces at him! I couldn’t help but giggle and encouraged him to go ahead and laugh! Rob is pretty laid back and mellow, so these images really show his calm personality. For me, that is what it’s all about – you want your photos to be who you are and show this time in your life.

Rob is such a sweet guy for coming out at his mom’s request to have pictures taken of him before he heads off to college. Rob has grown up to be a great young man with big plans for himself.

Thank you Rob for letting me take so many pictures of you! Kelly, thank you for thinking of me – I had a great time with you guys! Best of luck Rob as you head off to your last year of high school and pursue your dreams in psychology. It will undoubtedly be challenging, but your perseverance will push you through those long nights of wondering why you’re doing it! Hahaa! I’m excited to see where you go from here!
